About the role

We are looking for a motivated, well‑presented Private Butler to join a high‑net‑worth household in India. The role is ideal for an early‑to‑mid‑career professional with a solid foundation in formal service, either from private household experience or a prestigious 5‑star hotel background, who wishes to grow within private service.

Key responsibilities

• Provide formal table and beverage service to the highest standards for family events and guests.
• Assist with day‑to‑day household operations and coordinate with housekeeping, chauffeurs, chefs, and security staff.
• Support wardrobe care, packing, and valet duties for the principals as required.
• Maintain household inventory, including silverware, china, linens, and other service items.
• Help with scheduling, correspondence, and logistical arrangements.
• Accompany the family on domestic or international travel, ensuring consistent service standards.
• Uphold strict discretion and confidentiality regarding all family and household matters.
• Learn and adapt to the household’s specific preferences, moving toward greater autonomy over time.

Required profile

• 2–6 years of relevant experience as a butler in a private household or in a formal service role at a luxury hotel (e.g., guest relations, VIP services, in‑room dining supervisor, or butler service department).
• Fluent spoken and written English; additional languages are a plus.
• Willingness to travel with the family as needed.
• Strong grooming, presentation, and professional demeanor.
• Working knowledge of formal etiquette and fine‑dining service standards; openness to further training.
• Valid passport preferred and verifiable references from previous employers.
