Principal Graph Data Engineer

About the role

As a Senior Data Engineer you will shape NXP’s R&D data analytics platform, delivering a self‑service, cloud‑based solution that enables fast, cost‑effective new product introductions.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders and source‑system owners to translate graph‑based use cases into relational datasets.
• Design and implement graph‑to‑relational data models for use in Databricks, reporting tools and enterprise analytics.
• Build and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines that ingest graph data into the enterprise data lake and Lakehouse ecosystem.
• Collaborate with source‑system teams to onboard new graph datasets and establish reliable integration patterns.
• Optimize graph extraction, transformation and loading for performance, scalability and data quality.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering or related fields.
• Proven ability to work with large‑scale enterprise datasets and distributed platforms.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Fluent English communication, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• Graph technologies: Neo4j, Amazon Neptune (or equivalent), and query languages Cypher, SPARQL, Gremlin.
• ETL/ELT tools: Apache Spark, Databricks, Airflow.
• Data lake/Lakehouse concepts: Delta Lake, Unity Catalog.
• AWS services: S3, Glue, Athena, IAM, Lambda.
