Principal BI Architect – Agentic BI

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Principal BI Architect to lead the design, development and delivery of enterprise‑scale BI and analytics solutions, focusing on Power BI, Tableau, Snowflake, Databricks and emerging GenAI and Agentic BI capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of enterprise BI solutions, creating complex dashboards, reports and semantic models while troubleshooting performance and scalability issues.
• Design scalable analytical data models and reporting architectures across Snowflake, Databricks, Azure SQL and other platforms; write and optimise complex SQL for data extraction and transformation.
• Drive GenAI and LLM‑powered analytics initiatives, including natural‑language analytics, automated insight generation and conversational BI.
• Develop Agentic BI solutions that interpret business questions, interact with semantic models and data sources, and generate actionable recommendations.
• Provide technical leadership, mentor BI engineers, establish standards, and ensure governance, security and performance across projects.

Required profile

• 10–15+ years of experience in BI, analytics or related technology roles with hands‑on delivery of enterprise solutions.
• Deep expertise in Power BI, Tableau, SQL, semantic modelling and dashboard development.
• Strong experience with MS Fabric, Snowflake, Databricks and modern cloud data architectures.
• Hands‑on experience using Python for analytics, automation or AI/GenAI use cases.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams, manage multiple projects and communicate complex insights to senior stakeholders.
