Principal Associate – Corporate & M&A (Delhi)

About the role

The firm is seeking a Principal Associate/Associate Partner to lead Corporate and M&A transactions in Delhi. The role involves end‑to‑end management of deals, advisory on corporate and regulatory matters, and contributing to business development.

Key responsibilities

• Manage assignments independently from initiation through negotiation and closure, ensuring compliance with Indian corporate statutes.
• Deliver high‑quality work products within tight deadlines and maintain rigorous turnaround times.
• Provide client management, building confidence through deep legal knowledge and effective communication.
• Support business development initiatives and align work with the firm’s strategic plans.

Required profile

• Five‑year law degree from a reputed university (LLM/CA/CS advantageous) with 4‑9 years of corporate practice experience at a well‑reputed law firm.
• Strong understanding of Indian corporate laws, including Companies Act, SEBI regulations, FEMA, Competition Act, and related statutes.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to coach junior associates.
• High integrity, honesty, and commitment to professional ethics.
