Primary Teacher (Community Schools)

About the role

Inventure Academy is seeking a passionate Primary Teacher to lead an English‑medium mathematics classroom in its Community Schools network in Bengaluru. You will work with children from vulnerable backgrounds, many of whom are new to formal education and English language instruction.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver the prescribed mathematics curriculum using effective pedagogical practices.
• Design and execute engaging lesson plans and thoughtful assessments.
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs and create a safe, high‑achievement environment.
• Maintain classroom rules and norms consistently.
• Build strong relationships with parents and the wider community to support each child’s progress.
• Participate in professional development, school trainings, meetings and extracurricular activities.
• Conduct occasional community visits to stay connected with families.

Required profile

• Experience or willingness to teach primary‑level mathematics in an English‑medium setting.
• Ability to manage a class of approximately 30 students.
• Commitment to the school’s core values of empathy, integrity, resilience, citizenship, collaboration and ownership.
• Strong communication skills for engaging with students, parents and school staff.
