Primary Mathematics Teacher

About the role

We are seeking a Primary Mathematics Teacher to deliver the Cambridge Primary curriculum and build a strong mathematical foundation for young learners. The role focuses on developing number sense, problem‑solving abilities and logical reasoning through engaging, real‑life learning experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging mathematics lessons aligned with the Cambridge Primary framework.
• Foster foundational literacy, numeracy and critical‑thinking skills using age‑appropriate strategies.
• Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation.
• Assess student progress regularly, maintain records and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
• Adapt teaching methods and resources to meet diverse learning needs.
• Communicate professionally with parents regarding student wellbeing and progress.
• Collaborate with colleagues, coordinators and school leadership to enhance teaching practices.
• Participate in professional development, training workshops and school events.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of primary‑grade teaching experience, preferably with the Cambridge curriculum.
• Master’s degree in Mathematics.
• Strong subject knowledge with the ability to simplify concepts for young learners.
• Excellent classroom management, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to student‑centered, differentiated instruction and continuous professional growth.
