Plumbing Design Engineer

About the role

Mepic Engineering Design Associates LLP is seeking a full‑time Plumbing Design Engineer to join its Vadodara office. You will be responsible for creating detailed plumbing designs for residential, commercial and industrial projects, ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop water supply, drainage and sewage system designs, including calculations, layouts and schematics.
• Prepare construction drawings and coordinate them with architectural, structural and other MEP disciplines.
• Review project requirements, conduct site visits when needed, and verify that designs meet safety regulations.
• Support the preparation of Bills of Quantities, specifications and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to resolve technical issues during design and execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Strong technical knowledge of plumbing systems, water‑supply sizing, routing and component selection.
• Experience in MEP coordination and integrated building services design.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
