Platform Engineer – OpenShift Platform

About the role

Airbus India is seeking a Platform Engineer to design, build, and maintain its OpenShift‑based platform. You will work across the full product lifecycle, ensuring the solution meets architectural standards and enterprise requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble and edit source code repositories to create the required software stack.
• Develop design specifications that comply with product architectural blueprints.
• Participate in all phases of the product development lifecycle, from analysis and design to testing, integration, and operation.
• Research, evaluate, and introduce new tools that improve development efficiency.
• Deploy, test, and integrate highly available, scalable, maintainable, and monitored systems and services.
• Coordinate functional and technical integration across multiple platforms.
• Define test strategies, scripts, and scenarios, and monitor test execution.
• Assess how existing applications, legacy systems, databases, and web interfaces work together to meet emerging enterprise needs.
