Plant Human Resources Manager

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Assistant Manager – Factory HR to lead end‑to‑end human resources operations at our manufacturing plant in Madukkarai, Coimbatore. The role focuses on workmen management, labour law compliance, statutory governance, talent acquisition for blue‑collar positions and industrial relations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage workmen engagement, union interactions, grievance handling and disciplinary actions to maintain harmonious industrial relations.
• Ensure 100 % compliance with Indian labour laws, Factory Act, PF, ESI, Bonus, Gratuity, CLRA, Minimum Wages and contract‑labour regulations; prepare and submit statutory reports and registers.
• Coordinate labour court matters, legal notices and dispute settlements in liaison with legal consultants and government authorities.
• Lead full‑cycle recruitment for factory and blue‑collar roles, sourcing candidates from local talent pools, ITIs and manpower vendors.
• Generate HR MIS dashboards, attendance and attrition reports; maintain accurate employee records and support payroll and contractor billing validation.
• Monitor upcoming Labour Codes and drive policy implementation to align factory practices with evolving regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in factory or plant HR operations within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Hands‑on experience in workmen management, labour law compliance and handling statutory audits.
• Proven ability to manage labour court cases, union negotiations and industrial dispute resolution.
• Strong recruitment capability for blue‑collar and contract labour positions.
• Excellent analytical skills for HR reporting and workforce analytics.
