Plant Head – Operations & Supply Chain

About the role

The Plant Head leads the Supply Chain Centre in Mohali, overseeing a high‑volume operation that serves over 270 stores and generates more than 50 Cr monthly sales. The role combines operational efficiency, safety, quality, cost control and people leadership to ensure flawless production of 30 L+ units each month.

Key responsibilities

• Human Safety & Food Safety – achieve zero Lost Time Incidents and zero food‑safety complaints.
• Customer Satisfaction – maintain high restaurant survey scores, on‑time‑in‑full deliveries, accurate GPS tracking and proactive stock‑out communication.
• Quality Assurance – enforce ISO standards, implement Six Sigma/Lean Sigma projects and drive zero‑defect output.
• Cost Management – keep G&A expenses within budget, control write‑offs, transporter discrepancies and production rejections.
• Culture & People Capability – foster a disciplined, accountable culture; lead recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management and talent mapping.
• System & Infrastructure – meet productivity targets for labor, electricity, trucks and space usage; ensure SOP compliance, manage capex, automation and new‑product launches.
• Statutory Compliance – guarantee 100 % adherence to all factory statutory requirements.

Required profile

• Proven ability to maintain zero Lost Time Incidents and zero food‑safety complaints.
• Experience driving ISO and FSMS certifications (e.g., FSSC, OHSAS).
• Strong track record in cost optimisation and budget adherence.
• Leadership skills to build a disciplined, accountable workforce.
