Plant Cost Controller

About the role

We are seeking a Plant Cost Controller to join the finance team at our Tirumala Dairy Plant in Palamaner, Andhra Pradesh. The role will support budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis for plant operations.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with operational management to develop annual budgets and prepare budget templates.
• Consolidate financial data, challenge assumptions, and ensure accuracy.
• Prepare provisional results, load them into controlling tools, and perform variance analysis against budget and prior year.
• Support accounting during month‑end close, present results and explain variances.
• Propose and implement action plans, conduct ad‑hoc analyses, and assist with cash management.
• Drive performance indicators, monitor results and support forecasting activities.
• Work cross‑functionally, share financial knowledge and help operational managers use financial tools for decision‑making.

Required profile

• Fully qualified ICWA or CMA (or equivalent) with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of costing, variance analysis, budget preparation and process improvement.
• Experience in dairy manufacturing is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to travel to plant locations up to 30 % of working time.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication skills in English and ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
