Piping Stress Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Piping Stress Engineer to support project work on power plant piping systems. The role focuses on performing CAESAR II stress analysis and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct detailed piping stress analysis using CAESAR II for power plant projects.
• Interpret and apply ASME B31.1, ASME B31.3, ASTM, ASME BPVC, IS and IBR codes.
• Develop and review pipe support and hanger datasheets, including selection and design of snubbers and rigid struts.
• Work within a 3‑D modeling environment to integrate stress analysis results.
• Prepare and submit design documentation as a Preparer/Responsible Engineer, ensuring independent design capability.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience in piping stress analysis for power plant applications.
• Strong knowledge of applicable codes and standards (ASME B31.1, B31.3, ASTM, ASME BPVC, IS, IBR).
• Familiarity with 3‑D CAD environments and pipe support engineering.
• Ability to prepare technical datasheets and design snubbers and rigid struts.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work independently.
