About the role

The Pharmacy Principal will lead the development and delivery of the pharmacy curriculum, ensuring academic excellence and compliance with accreditation standards. This senior academic position provides strategic direction, fosters industry partnerships, and supports faculty and student success.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the pharmacy curriculum and related educational policies.
• Oversee faculty recruitment, development, evaluation, and mentorship.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and accrediting body standards.
• Build and maintain relationships with industry partners and healthcare institutions.
• Provide academic leadership and guidance to faculty and students.
• Monitor student progress and support academic endeavors.
• Conduct research and engage in scholarly activities.
• Organize workshops, seminars, and continuing education programs.
• Manage departmental budgets and resources effectively.
• Represent the pharmacy program in institutional meetings and events.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in Pharmacy or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Strong academic background with a focus on pharmacy education.
• Demonstrated leadership and administrative abilities.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmacy education or administration.
• Experience in curriculum development and accreditation processes.
• Proven track record of research and publications in relevant fields.
