Pharmacist & Supply Chain Executive

About the role

The Pharmacist cum Supply Chain Executive will manage pharmacy operations while overseeing procurement, inventory, and supply‑chain activities in a hospital setting. The role ensures medicines are available, regulatory compliance is maintained, and stock and vendor processes run smoothly to support uninterrupted patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense medications accurately and verify prescriptions.
• Maintain proper storage, monitor expiry dates, and remove expired stock.
• Maintain optimal stock levels, conduct regular audits, and implement FIFO/FEFO controls.
• Manage procurement of medicines, surgical items, and consumables.
• Negotiate pricing, coordinate timely deliveries, and track vendor performance.
• Ensure accurate billing, maintain purchase and dispensing records, and handle audit documentation.
• Uphold compliance with drug regulations, licensing, safety, and hygiene standards.
• Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and operations teams to meet IPD/OPD and emergency medication needs.

Required profile

• D.Pharm or B.Pharm degree with a valid pharmacy registration license.
• 2–5 years of experience in hospital pharmacy or medical supply‑chain.
• Experience in inventory and procurement preferred.
