About the role
We are seeking a qualified Pharmacist to join our pharmacy team at Aster MIMS in Kannur. The role involves direct interaction with patients and healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective medication use.
Key responsibilities
- Provide information and advice on drug interactions, side effects, dosage, and proper medication storage.
- Dispense prescribed medications accurately and efficiently.
- Advise customers on selecting medication brands, medical equipment, and healthcare supplies.
- Train customers in the use of devices such as blood pressure monitors and diabetes meters.
- Handle narcotic, psychotropic, and other controlled medicines in compliance with regulations.
- Maintain proper stock storage and inventory control according to company protocols.
Required profile
- Qualified pharmacist with a valid license to practice.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug regulations, and pharmacy best practices.
- Excellent communication skills for counseling patients and collaborating with doctors.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage controlled substances responsibly.
