Performance Marketing Executive – User Acquisition & Retention

About the role

We are seeking a senior performance marketing professional to drive growth for a B2C/D2C mobile app. You will own both user acquisition and lifecycle marketing, ensuring a seamless journey from install to long‑term retention.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute end‑to‑end lifecycle campaigns using CleverTap, covering onboarding, drop‑off recovery, habit formation, re‑engagement and win‑back.
• Set up and manage push notifications, in‑app messages, email, SMS and WhatsApp, leveraging advanced segmentation and cohort analysis.
• Map the full user journey, identify friction points and implement behavioral triggers and event‑based automation.
• Run continuous A/B tests on messaging, timing and channel mix.
• Plan, launch and optimise paid acquisition campaigns on Google Ads (UAC/App Campaigns) and Meta Ads (Facebook/Instagram) with a focus on high‑quality users.
• Collaborate with analytics tools (Firebase, GA4, AppsFlyer, Mixpanel) to define key events, track funnel performance and run experiments.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with CleverTap campaign creation, journeys, segmentation and automation.
• Background in B2C or D2C mobile app marketing.
• Strong understanding of user lifecycle, retention strategies and data‑driven decision making.
• Basic to intermediate experience managing Google Ads and Meta Ads.
