Penetration Testing Manager – Cyber Security

About the role

EY is looking for a Penetration Testing Manager to lead and execute comprehensive security assessments across internet, intranet, wireless, web applications, social engineering, and physical environments. You will guide a team of technical testers, deliver high‑quality reports, and help shape the firm’s cyber security service offerings.

Key responsibilities

• Perform and oversee penetration testing engagements covering network, wireless, web, social engineering, and physical security.
• Design and execute red‑team scenarios to expose security gaps.
• Lead and mentor junior testers, providing technical direction and review of their work.
• Analyse test results, document findings, exploitation steps, risk assessments, and remediation recommendations.
• Maintain strong client relationships, communicate technical concepts to both technical and executive audiences, and identify new business opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading penetration testing or red‑team projects.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to produce clear, actionable reports.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
