Part‑Time Dietary Aide – Long Term Care

About the role

Caressant Care is seeking a passionate Dietary Aide to join its long‑term care team in Arthur, Ontario. This part‑time, temporary position supports residents by preparing and delivering nutritious meals in a caring environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary guidelines and resident needs.
• Handle texture‑modified diets and follow therapeutic meal plans.
• Maintain food service production spreadsheets and ensure accurate documentation.
• Follow verbal and written directions from supervisors and collaborate with the care team.

Required profile

• Successful completion of a Food Service Worker Certificate and Food Handler Training Program (or commitment to obtain them as required).
• Willingness to accept verbal and/or written direction.
• Ability to cope with the physical and emotional demands of a long‑term care setting.
• Geriatric or long‑term care experience is beneficial.
• Strong communication skills in English, punctuality and reliability.
