Painter – Hotel Maintenance

About the role

The Painter role is a full-time, on‑site position based in Bardez. The Painter will prepare surfaces, mix and apply paints and coatings, and ensure high‑quality finishes on interior and exterior areas of the hotel property.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces, mix paints, and apply coatings to walls, ceilings and fixtures.
• Repair and patch interior and exterior surfaces, including spray‑painting where required.
• Maintain painting tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Follow safety guidelines and hotel standards while working.
• Coordinate with maintenance and housekeeping teams to minimise guest disruption.
• Conduct periodic inspections of painted surfaces and perform timely touch‑ups.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a painter in hospitality, residential or commercial settings.
• Ability to read and follow work orders, safety procedures and technical instructions.
• Strong attention to detail, good time management and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Physical ability to stand, bend, lift and work at heights with appropriate safety equipment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in painting is an advantage.
