Overnight Stocking Supervisor – New Store Opening

About the role

Join Meijer’s 2026 new store opening team in Plymouth, MI as an Overnight Stocking Supervisor. You will lead the overnight stocking department, oversee merchandising, product flow, planograms and pricing for the Meat and Seafood sections, and mentor a team of stock associates.

Key responsibilities

• Execute day‑to‑day merchandising, stocking, product flow, planogram compliance and pricing for Meat and Seafood departments.
• Hire, schedule, and develop stocking team members, providing coaching and career‑path guidance.
• Maintain store appearance, product presentation and company standards during prime shopping hours.
• Drive department sales, manage P&L, and control shrink.
• Model fast, friendly customer service and communicate the Meijer Friendly Initiative.
• Ensure all team members complete required training and adhere to safety policies.
• Handle disciplinary actions and make recommendations for terminations when needed.
• Spend the majority of the shift on the sales floor interacting with customers and staff.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in logistics, inventory, retail, warehouse or fulfillment environments (e.g., Amazon, FedEx, UPS) is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a high‑performing team.
