Oracle OBDX Front‑End & Backend Developer – Bangalore

About the role

Our client is establishing a new office in Bangalore and is looking for experienced Oracle OBDX professionals to join a large‑scale Digital Banking and Mobile Banking transformation program. Two positions are open: a Front‑End Developer focused on customer‑facing digital experiences and a Backend/Integration Developer responsible for API and core‑banking integrations.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop modern digital banking screens, workflows and responsive UI components for web, tablet and mobile.
• Customize OBDX themes, branding and user experiences using Oracle JET, Oracle MAF and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Integrate backend REST APIs and JSON data into digital banking interfaces.
• Develop OBDX Java Adapter services, REST and SOAP integrations with core banking systems.
• Implement custom business logic, transaction workflows and API security (OAuth2, JWT, SSL/TLS).
• Optimize performance, caching, JVM tuning and support production issue resolution.

Required profile

• Proven experience with Oracle OBDX platform in a banking or fintech environment.
• Strong background in either front‑end UI development or Java‑based backend integration.
• Familiarity with Agile development practices and tools such as Git and JIRA.
