Operations Staff – Delivery & Pickup (Biker & Van)

About the role

The Operations Staff member is responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of shipments from collection to final delivery. Working on both bike and van routes, you will handle sorting, scanning, and documentation while maintaining a customer‑centric approach and adhering to company SOPs.

Key responsibilities

• Unload bags from vehicles and scan shipments upon arrival.
• Perform primary and secondary sorting of parcels.
• Deliver shipments to the correct address, obtain customer acknowledgment via device, and update status codes for any undelivered items.
• Handle cash‑on‑delivery (COD) amounts, handing them over to the supervisor on the same day.
• Execute timely pickups according to SOPs, verify serviceable locations, count shipments, and record acknowledgments.
• Scan pickups at the office, manage rapid entry, and prepare bags for loading.
• Load vans route‑wise, ensure accurate tally, and process POD/FOD/DOD/COD documentation.
• Meet estimated delivery dates (EDD) and service quality (SQ) targets.
• Follow proper dress code and maintain a professional, customer‑focused demeanor.

Required profile

• Ability to follow detailed SOPs and work under time‑critical conditions.
• Physical capability to handle loading and unloading of bags.
• Strong attention to detail for accurate scanning and documentation.
• Customer‑oriented attitude with good communication skills.

Required skills

• Use of handheld scanning devices for shipment tracking.
• Basic knowledge of COD, POD, FOD, and DOD processes.
• Familiarity with airwaybill execution and regulatory paperwork.
