Operations Executive – Service Centre Incharge (Non-Metro)

About the role

The Service Centre In‑charge – Operations (Non‑Metro/BDO) leads the day‑to‑day logistics activities of assigned non‑metro branches, business development offices or service centre clusters. Reporting to the Assistant Manager – Operations (Area Operations), the role ensures smooth inbound and outbound shipment processing, pickup and delivery coordination, and high‑quality customer service across the network.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee end‑to‑end operational processes for assigned locations, including shipment receipt, sorting, dispatch and delivery.
• Coordinate pickup schedules and delivery routes to meet service commitments.
• Deploy and manage manpower, ensuring appropriate staffing levels and performance monitoring.
• Monitor operational KPIs, enforce standard operating procedures and drive continuous improvement.
• Handle customer queries and escalations, providing timely resolutions.
• Prepare operational reports and communicate performance insights to senior management.
• Travel to assigned sites as required (approximately 25% of time).

Required profile

• Proven experience in logistics or courier operations, preferably in a supervisory or lead role.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate operational teams.
• Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills.
• Willingness to travel across non‑metro locations.
• Good communication skills and customer‑service orientation.
