Operations Executive – Outbound Shift Lead

About the role

The Outbound Shift In‑charge leads all outbound operational activities within an assigned Service Centre, ensuring shipments are processed, sorted, loaded and dispatched on time while meeting Blue Dart's service commitments and network cut‑off timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee outbound processing, sorting, loading and dispatch of customer shipments.
• Deploy and manage Ops Staff, Senior Ops Staff, Territory Service Representatives and Senior TSRs during the shift.
• Ensure dispatch readiness, shipment accuracy, productivity, safety and compliance with operational standards.
• Monitor performance against cut‑off timelines and address any operational bottlenecks.
• Coordinate with other functions to resolve escalations and maintain seamless outbound flow.

Required profile

• Proven experience in logistics or operations management.
• Strong leadership abilities to guide a diverse shift team.
• Good understanding of outbound logistics processes and safety protocols.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and meet strict timelines.
