Operations Controlling Analyst

About the role

The Operations Controlling Analyst will provide standardized controlling and financial performance analysis across multiple global manufacturing sites. The role ensures accurate reporting, cost transparency, and KPI management while acting as a bridge between global governance and local operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Produce global operations controlling reports for production sites, focusing on order performance, product cost transparency and variance analysis.
• Collect, validate and consolidate data from plants, ensuring consistent definitions, methodologies and high data quality.
• Analyze operational and financial performance, highlight trends and deviations, and discuss results with plant stakeholders.
• Support standardisation of reporting structures, KPIs and templates, translating central requirements into practical solutions.
• Serve as a central reporting and consulting interface between global governance and local controlling teams.

Required profile

• 7‑10 years of experience with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, controlling, business administration or CMA qualification.
• Professional experience in operations controlling within manufacturing, with strong analytical, conceptual and solution‑driven skills.
• Ability to work with global stakeholders across cultures, communicate clearly in English and balance central standards with local needs.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel
• Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI or SAP BW
• Practical experience with SAP modules (CO, FI, MM, PP, BW)
