Offshore AWS Integration Developer – 10+ Years Experience

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Integration Developer with deep hands‑on expertise in AWS to lead offshore integration projects. The role involves designing, building, and migrating enterprise‑grade integrations from MuleSoft to AWS‑native services while ensuring minimal business disruption.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain integrations and APIs using AWS services such as API Gateway, Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge, SQS/SNS, AppFlow, and container platforms (ECS/EKS).
• Assess existing MuleSoft applications, document current integration patterns, and create target‑state AWS architectures with clear migration road‑maps.
• Build event‑driven and API‑led integrations connecting Salesforce, ERP systems, databases, and third‑party SaaS solutions.
• Translate DataWeave transformations to Python, Node.js or Java equivalents and validate functional parity.
• Implement security best practices: OAuth 2.0, IAM roles/policies, secrets management, and encryption in transit and at rest.
• Establish CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, CodePipeline) and infrastructure‑as‑code using CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise integrations for performance, reliability, and cost; decommission legacy Mule assets after migration.
• Document designs, runbooks, and migration decisions while collaborating with architects, DevOps, and business stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience as an Integration Developer, with at least 5 years focused on REST/SOAP APIs, messaging, and event‑driven architectures.
• Proven experience migrating MuleSoft services to AWS‑native solutions; ability to walk through a completed migration.
• Strong communication skills to explain trade‑offs, risks, and costs to technical and business audiences.
• AWS certifications (Developer Associate, Solutions Architect Associate or higher) are required.
