About the role
Sun Pharma is looking for an Officer / Senior Officer to join its Peptide Business Unit in Ahmednagar. The role focuses on the issuance, receipt, and manufacturing of peptide raw materials and products, ensuring compliance with batch manufacturing records and standard procedures.
Key responsibilities
- Issue and receive raw materials for peptide product manufacturing as per requirements.
- Charge batches and execute all process operations according to BMR and written procedures.
- Operate, calibrate, clean, and maintain process equipment, recording usage logs.
- Monitor process parameters, yields, turnaround times, and work to reduce solvent usage, instrument downtime, batch failures, and waste generation.
Required profile
- B.Sc. in Chemistry or M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry.
- 5 to 7 years of experience in peptide API manufacturing units.
Required skills
- Peptide API manufacturing.
- Batch manufacturing and charge‑off procedures.
- Process equipment calibration, cleaning, and maintenance.
- Process monitoring and yield optimization.
