About the role
Sun Pharma is hiring an Officer / Senior Officer (Grade G12C / G12B) for its Global API Business unit, working on Peptide products in the Ahmednagar / Ahilyanagar area. The role covers issuing and receiving raw materials, running batches and operating the peptide manufacturing plant according to standard procedures.
Key responsibilities
- Issue and receive raw materials for manufacturing of peptide products as required.
- Charge batches and carry out all process operations according to BMR and written procedures.
- Manufacture peptide products in the Peptide plant following BMR and written procedures.
- Operate, calibrate, clean and maintain process equipment and record usage logs.
- Monitor process and cleaning turnaround time during synthesis and purification of peptide products.
- Monitor process parameters and yield.
- Reduce solvent usage, instrument downtime, batch failures, batch hold-ups and waste generation.
Required profile
- B.Sc. (Chemistry) or M.Sc. (Organic Chemistry).
- 5 to 7 years of experience in peptide API manufacturing units.
