Obstetrician & Gynecologist – Immediate Hire in Kamrup, Assam

About the role

We are urgently seeking a qualified Obstetrician & Gynecologist to join a 30‑bedded hospital in Hekera, Kamrup (Rural), Assam. The role involves independent management of obstetric and gynaecological patients, with a strong emphasis on ultrasound diagnostics.

Key responsibilities

• Manage obstetric and gynaecological patients in both OPD and inpatient settings.
• Conduct antenatal, postnatal and high‑risk obstetric care.
• Perform and interpret ultrasound (USG) examinations.
• Carry out gynaecological procedures and surgeries as required.
• Provide patient counseling, treatment planning and maintain accurate clinical records.

Required profile

• MBBS with MD / MS / DNB in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• Valid registration with NMC or State Medical Council.
• Proven experience in performing ultrasound/USG examinations.
• Relevant clinical experience in obstetrics and gynaecology preferred.

Required skills

• Strong obstetric and gynaecological clinical expertise.
• Hands‑on experience with ultrasound (USG) imaging.
• Good diagnostic and patient‑management abilities.
• Effective communication and counseling skills.
