Nurse Assistant – Patient Care Role

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Assistant to join our clinical team at Apollo Hospitals. The role involves providing direct patient care, supporting nursing staff, and ensuring accurate medical documentation in a fast‑paced hospital environment.

Key responsibilities

• Record patients’ medical history and symptoms.
• Administer prescribed medication and treatments.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated patient care.
• Perform point‑of‑care diagnostic tests.
• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments.
• Monitor patients’ health status and report changes.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and post‑discharge care.
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies.
• Provide bedside care and assist with daily activities.
• Operate and maintain medical equipment.
• Participate in regular in‑service education and training.

Required profile

• Graduate with 1st division in 10th, 12th and a GNM, BSc or MSc in Nursing.
• 3 months to 5 years of experience in nursing or patient care.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Team‑oriented mindset with initiative and coordination skills.
• Compassionate approach to patient interaction.
• Basic computer literacy.
