Non‑IT Recruiter (Engineering & Manufacturing)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Non‑IT Recruiter to lead end‑to‑end hiring for engineering, manufacturing, pharmaceutical and other operational roles. The position is based in Coimbatore (or Trichy) and focuses on building strong talent pipelines for a variety of non‑technical positions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full‑cycle recruitment for non‑IT positions across engineering, manufacturing, pharmaceutical and related domains.
• Source, screen, interview and evaluate candidates according to client requirements.
• Drive W2 hiring and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified talent.
• Utilise VMS portals to handle requisitions, submissions and candidate tracking.
• Collaborate with team managers and account managers to understand staffing needs and devise recruitment strategies.
• Coordinate with candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
• Build talent pools using job portals, networking, referrals and other sourcing channels.
• Stay updated on market trends, industry insights and recruitment best practices.
• Provide regular recruitment updates and reports to management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• 2‑5 years of recruitment experience in non‑IT staffing, preferably within engineering or manufacturing.
• Strong experience in W2 recruitment.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, organisational and time‑management skills.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with VMS portals.
• Familiarity with ATS platforms, job boards and recruiting tools.
• Proficiency in W2 hiring processes.
