Non-Tech Sourcing Recruiter – Amazon Operations

About the role

Amazon is seeking a talented Non‑Tech Sourcing Recruiter to join its North American Operations recruiting team. In this role you will identify and engage high‑quality passive candidates for distribution and operations positions across the United States, supporting rapid growth and delivering exceptional service to internal hiring managers.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively source passive candidates using Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, X‑ray and other channels.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of talent through market research and relationship management.
• Conduct in‑depth interviews, assess candidate motivation and fit, and deliver high offer‑to‑interview ratios.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and prioritize searches against SLAs.
• Develop and refine recruiting processes to align with Amazon’s high‑quality standards.

Required profile

• Demonstrated ability to manage high‑volume searches and meet tight timelines.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer‑service mindset.
• Proven track record of generating candidates in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, push back when necessary, and maintain urgency.
