About the role
We are looking for a reliable and caring nanny to join a family in Newlands, Wellington. The role involves providing safe, nurturing, and age‑appropriate care for children in a home environment.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise and engage children in daily activities, including play, meals, and bedtime routines.
- Plan and organise educational and recreational outings, ensuring safety at all times.
- Maintain a clean and orderly environment for the children, including tidying play areas and assisting with light household tasks related to childcare.
- Transport children to and from school, activities, and appointments using personal vehicle.
Required profile
- Minimum age of 20 years.
- Proven experience in childcare or a similar role.
- Full, clean driver’s licence and access to a reliable personal vehicle.
Required skills
- Ability to plan age‑appropriate activities.
- Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
- Excellent communication with children and parents.
