Music Teacher – CAS Programme

About the role

The school is seeking a dedicated Music Teacher to lead the Creative Arts and Sports (CAS) programme. You will guide students in music, support co‑curricular aspirations, and ensure high‑quality, engaging experiences that contribute to holistic development.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the CAS music curriculum in line with the Principal’s direction and academic goals.
• Plan lessons, translate curriculum objectives into actionable teaching activities, and monitor progress through regular meetings.
• Collaborate with other CAS teachers (Dance, Arts, Drama) to gather feedback and refine the programme.
• Manage daily timetables, ensure punctuality, and arrange substitute coverage when needed.
• Assist the Principal with school events, holidays, teacher records, report cards, and other academic documentation.
• Uphold school policies, disciplinary standards, and the cultural ethos throughout all music activities.

Required profile

• Passion for music education and experience working with school‑age students.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to coordinate schedules and resources.
• Commitment to student wellbeing, safeguarding, and health & safety standards.
• Effective communication and collaborative mindset to work with teachers, students, and administration.
