About the role

We are seeking a passionate Montessori Teacher to join our Mysore team. The role involves delivering Montessori‑based education to young learners, fostering independence and a love of learning in a supportive classroom environment. You will work onsite in Mysore, applying the Montessori philosophy to guide each child’s development.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and conduct daily Montessori lessons for children, adapting activities to suit various developmental stages while following the centre’s curriculum.
• Prepare and maintain a prepared environment that encourages self‑directed activity, ensuring all Montessori materials are accessible and orderly.
• Observe and assess each child’s progress, documenting observations and providing individualized guidance to support growth.
• Collaborate with parents and staff to discuss observations, share feedback, and coordinate strategies that enhance each child’s learning experience.

Required profile

• Any degree combined with a B.Ed., D.Ed., or a recognized Montessori certification, demonstrating formal training in education.
• 2–3 years of teaching experience, preferably in a Montessori setting, showing practical classroom management skills.
• Strong commitment to the Montessori philosophy and early childhood education, reflecting a genuine passion for teaching young learners.
