Molding Supervisor

About the role

The Molding Supervisor leads the manufacturing team responsible for producing high‑quality molded components. This position ensures production targets are met while maintaining strict adherence to customer specifications and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain working standards that reflect best practices.
• Troubleshoot and perform maintenance on all molding equipment, tooling, and related processes.
• Achieve scheduled production targets and meet strict deadlines.
• Supervise a workforce that includes supervisors and operators.
• Drive cost‑reduction initiatives and process improvements.
• Coordinate activities to maintain production timing and parallel workflows, with special focus on pin‑header production.
• Respond quickly to issues identified by visual control systems.
• Ensure compliance with customer‑specific requirements.
• Participate in management routines and problem‑solving workshops.
• Manage consumable inventory to minimum levels during production.
• Prepare and update preventive‑maintenance (P.M.) schedules.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising manufacturing or molding operations.
• Strong ability to develop team skills so operators can work with minimal assistance.
• Hands‑on technical knowledge to act as a bridge between engineering, maintenance, and production.
• Experience in cost‑reduction, methods improvement, and production planning.

Required skills

• Maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC machines.
• Experience with SPM (Statistical Process Monitoring) systems.
• Preventive and predictive maintenance expertise.
• Mechanical system design for manufacturing.
• Inventory management of consumables.
• Knowledge of molding equipment and tooling.
