Molding Operator

About the role
We are looking for a skilled Molding Operator to join our production team at Aptiv’s facility in Arakkunnam, Ernakulam. The role involves handling mold changeovers, preparing plastic materials, and ensuring successful molding trials to meet quality and production targets.
Key responsibilities
- Perform mold changeovers and prepare plastic material for production runs.
- Conduct first‑off tool (FOT) activities and process qualification analyses for new molds.
- Execute molding trials, including correction trials, troubleshooting, stress runs, and thorough documentation.
- Maintain accurate records of trial results and process parameters.
Required profile
- Diploma in Plastic Molding Technology or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in plastic molding operations.
- Ability to work independently in an onsite manufacturing environment.
