Mobile Engineer – Android & Kotlin Multiplatform

About the role

The Mobile Engineer will design, develop, test and maintain high‑quality Android applications using Kotlin and Kotlin Multiplatform. You will translate business and UI/UX requirements into scalable, secure, and performant mobile solutions while ensuring an excellent user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Convert business requirements, user stories, and UI/UX designs into Android and Kotlin Multiplatform applications.
• Own the full mobile development lifecycle: design, coding, testing, deployment, release management and post‑production support.
• Write clean, reusable Kotlin code following best practices and modern architecture patterns such as MVVM, Repository and Dependency Injection.
• Integrate and manage RESTful APIs using Retrofit or Ktor HttpClient, handling networking, caching and data synchronization.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve defects, crashes, memory leaks and performance bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA engineers and backend developers to deliver features on schedule.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, code reviews and retrospectives.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of professional experience in Android development with Kotlin.
• Strong understanding of modern Android architecture patterns (MVVM, Repository, DI).
• Hands‑on experience with RESTful API integration, Kotlin Coroutines and Flow.
• Proficiency in debugging, performance optimization and implementing testing best practices.
• Familiarity with Git, Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
