Mobile Developer – React Native & Native Apps

About the role

CGI is seeking a Mobile Developer to design, build and maintain high‑quality cross‑platform mobile applications. The role focuses on React Native development while also integrating native iOS and Android components.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain mobile applications using React Native with Expo.
• Write and integrate native modules in Swift/Objective‑C for iOS and Kotlin for Android.
• Collaborate with designers, backend engineers and product managers to deliver performant, scalable solutions.
• Manage app lifecycle including deployment, releases and updates on the App Store and Google Play.
• Identify and fix bugs, performance bottlenecks and production issues.
• Stay current with React, React Native and mobile ecosystem advancements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 4–6 years of professional experience in mobile application development.
• Strong proficiency in React Native and Expo.
• Hands‑on experience with native iOS (Swift/Objective‑C) and Android (Kotlin) development.
• Experience publishing apps to the App Store and Google Play.
