Mobile Application Developer (Java)

About the role

IBM Consulting is looking for a Mobile Application Developer to design, build, and maintain high‑quality mobile solutions for a range of platforms. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver innovative applications that integrate seamlessly with existing services and support clients on their hybrid cloud and AI journeys.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop complex mobile applications for iOS, Android, Hybrid and React Native platforms.
• Integrate reusable software packages and assets across mobile environments.
• Ensure smooth API integration with backend services and other software components.
• Provide ongoing support, troubleshoot issues, and implement updates to maintain optimal performance.
• Leverage advanced Java programming to build and maintain robust mobile codebases.

Required profile

• Strong background in Java development with experience in mobile application projects.
• Familiarity with mobile architectures, design patterns, and API usage.
• Ability to work on multiple platforms (iOS, Android, Hybrid, React Native) and adapt to evolving technology stacks.
