Mobile App Engineer (Fintech – React Native / Flutter)

About the role

We are a fast‑growing fintech startup building consumer‑facing mobile products that bring advanced banking tools to users on the go. As a Mobile App Engineer you will own the development of our cross‑platform applications, delivering secure, high‑performance experiences that integrate tightly with our backend services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain mobile applications using React Native (TypeScript) or Flutter (Dart).
• Implement robust local storage encryption, biometric authentication, and secure token management.
• Integrate with RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and real‑time push notification services.
• Profile and optimise frame rates, bundle sizes, memory usage and offline‑first data caching.
• Manage end‑to‑end deployment for iOS (App Store) and Android (Google Play), including code‑push updates and compliance.

Required profile

• 2+ years of professional mobile app development with published apps on the App Store or Google Play.
• Deep expertise in React Native with TypeScript or Flutter with Dart, including state‑management solutions.
• Strong understanding of mobile security best practices such as SSL pinning, secure keychain storage, and OAuth2 flows.
• Attention to UI/UX details, creating pixel‑perfect, accessible interfaces across diverse screen sizes.
