Java Developer – Backend (3+ years experience)

About the role

We are a fast‑paced startup seeking a skilled Java Developer with at least three years of backend experience. You will join a core engineering team that builds scalable services, drives rapid MVP delivery, and integrates AI‑enhanced features into the product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Java and Spring Boot.
• Drive rapid prototyping and MVP delivery following lean development principles.
• Integrate AI‑based engineering practices into the SDLC, leveraging AI tools and LLMs.
• Implement and manage databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and ClickHouse.
• Champion Test‑Driven Development (TDD) with robust JUnit test suites.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver high‑quality software quickly.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and system design discussions.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional Java development experience.
• Strong proficiency with the Spring Boot framework.
• Hands‑on experience with NoSQL (MongoDB) and relational databases (PostgreSQL, ClickHouse).
• Proven practice of TDD and testing frameworks such as JUnit.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast‑moving startup environment.
• Good communication skills and a proactive problem‑solving attitude.
