Mining Engineer – Underground Mining

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Mining Engineer to lead underground mining operations at our Rajasthan project. The role focuses on planning, supervising, and optimizing production while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise underground mining activities to meet production targets.
• Monitor daily operations, ensuring they are safe, efficient, and cost‑effective.
• Ensure compliance with statutory mining regulations, environmental standards, and safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to optimize mine development and production.
• Prepare and analyse production reports, operational data, and performance metrics using Microsoft Excel.
• Develop presentations for management reviews and operational meetings using Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Identify process‑improvement opportunities and implement best practices.
• Conduct risk assessments and support safety initiatives.
• Monitor equipment utilisation and recommend productivity enhancements.
• Maintain accurate documentation of mining activities and operational records.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering.
• Valid Mining Engineer certification or license as required by law.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in underground mining operations.
• Strong understanding of underground mining methods, mine planning, ventilation, and safety practices.
• Knowledge of mining regulations and statutory compliance.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Rajasthan and join immediately or with short notice.
