MICE Airline Manager – Mumbai

About the role

FCM, part of the ASX-listed Flight Centre Travel Group, is looking for a MICE Airline Manager based in Mumbai. The role manages the MICE airline team and handles end-to-end group ticketing for MICE travel, working with airlines, internal sales teams and GDS systems.

Key responsibilities

• Handle the MICE airline team and maintain good relationships with all airlines
• Handle end-to-end group ticketing, including fare negotiation, seat confirmation, PNR creation, issuance and reissuance for domestic and international travel
• Liaise with internal MICE sales teams to understand travel requirements and provide flight options and quotations
• Secure group fares, block seats and manage deadlines in line with airline policies and event schedules
• Coordinate with Amadeus to build and manage group PNRs
• Ensure accurate ticket issuance, including names, dates, passport details and special service requests
• Process rebookings or refunds for changes in group size, itinerary or cancellations
• Manage visa support letters, baggage allowances, travel insurance and related documentation
• Work with ground operations, airport staff and logistics teams on group check-ins and departures
• Generate group travel reports, reconciliations and support the finance team with billing and invoicing
• Support post-event travel reviews, client feedback and issue resolution

Required profile

• Graduate in any discipline; a diploma in Travel & Tourism or Airline Ticketing is preferred
• 7+ years of experience in travel agency group contracting and ticketing (team handling preferable)
• Prior experience in MICE operations or corporate group travel is a strong advantage
• Availability during weekends or late evenings during peak event seasons, and possible travel during major MICE events

Required skills

• GDS platforms such as Amadeus, Sabre or Galileo for group bookings
• Negotiation skills for group fares and inventory management
• MS Excel and travel reporting
• Knowledge of visa and travel documentation for major destinations, and familiarity with airline fare rules and group ticketing policies
