MEP Engineer – Construction & Site Execution

About the role

We are seeking an experienced MEP Engineer to lead the inspection, evaluation and coordination of mechanical, electrical and plumbing installations on construction sites for a real‑estate developer. The role involves ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety standards and handover procedures throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect and evaluate on‑site MEP installations to verify adherence to design and safety standards.
• Prepare technical reports, documentation and as‑built drawings for electrical, AC and plumbing works.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely and quality delivery of MEP systems.
• Conduct feasibility studies, site investigations and provide technical support during construction phases.
• Manage handover procedures, resolve snag points and handle critical electrical maintenance issues.
• Prepare and review electrical, AC and plumbing layouts, specifications and cost estimates.
• Assist in taking measurements and preparing bill statements.

Required profile

• Minimum 5–6 years of construction experience in a real‑estate environment.
• Strong knowledge of site execution works and MEP systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Effective communication skills for interaction with stakeholders, clients and team members.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD for electrical design.
• Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards and regulations.
• Experience with handover procedures and snag resolution.
• Capability to address critical electrical maintenance on site.
• Familiarity with sustainable and energy‑efficient electrical design practices.
• Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
