Medical Officer – Remote Engagement Digital Service

About the role

The Medical Officer will support Noora Health’s Remote Engagement Digital Service, a mobile‑phone based platform that provides families with health‑related information in regional languages via WhatsApp, IVRS and tele‑training. This role focuses on delivering evidence‑based guidance and promoting behavior change across a range of therapeutic areas.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate seamless interactions between patients/caregivers, nursing staff and consultant physicians.
• Ensure timely, evidence‑based responses to health queries received through WhatsApp, IVRS and tele‑training channels.
• Prepare data‑driven reports on platform queries for the internal medical team.
• Train nursing staff on key medical topics and support tele‑training sessions.
• Assist with messaging interventions and contribute to content quality, accuracy and relevance.
• Provide prompt escalation handling for complex queries.

Required profile

• Medical qualification with a solid understanding of maternal and child care, general health, non‑communicable diseases, tuberculosis, cardiology and related specialties.
• Experience or familiarity with tele‑health or digital health service delivery.
• Ability to analyze query data and generate actionable reports.
• Strong communication skills to train and support nursing staff.

Required skills

• Proficiency with WhatsApp as a communication platform.
• Experience using IVRS (Interactive Voice Response System) for health services.
• Knowledge of tele‑training tools and digital health platforms.
