Medical Doctor

About the role

The Medical Doctor will join Vidyapati Hospital’s multidisciplinary team in Dhaka, Bihar, delivering comprehensive patient care across outpatient and inpatient services. This full‑time position combines on‑site clinical duties with limited remote work for teleconsultations, documentation and case reviews.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct clinical assessments, diagnose conditions and formulate evidence‑based treatment plans.
• Order, interpret and act on laboratory and imaging investigations.
• Participate in OPD and IPD rounds, coordinate care with nurses, specialists and allied health professionals.
• Manage emergency cases and provide timely interventions.
• Maintain accurate medical records, discharge summaries and digital documentation.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options and preventive health measures.
• Support hospital initiatives such as vaccination programmes and quality‑improvement projects.

Required profile

• Recognized medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) with valid registration from the appropriate medical council.
• Clinical experience in hospital settings, including OPD, IPD and emergency care.
• Exposure to multi‑specialty environments (e.g., internal medicine, pediatrics, obstetrics‑gynecology, surgery) is advantageous.
• Strong diagnostic and clinical decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent communication skills for patient counseling and team collaboration.
• Willingness to work flexible hours as required by hospital operations.
