Mechanical System Installation Engineer – PDI

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical System Installation Engineer – PDI to join Airbus India’s landing‑gear integration team in Bangalore. The role focuses on integrating, validating and delivering multi‑system component specifications for aircraft landing‑gear systems.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and validate Multi‑System Component (MSC) level specifications and define design and product verification criteria.
• Verify MSC specifications in coordination with cross‑functional teams and integrate subsystem development activities.
• Support MSC level reviews and produce engineering documentation for program milestones such as FAL Acceptance, First Flight and Certification reviews.
• Assist signatories in reviewing documentation and manage the release process.
• Continuously follow up with stakeholders to ensure timelines, cost and quality targets are met.
• Identify and manage technical and schedule risks throughout the project.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace or Systems Engineering.
• 3–8 years of experience in system development, planning, integration or component design.
• Proven ability to work with multiple stakeholders and deliver on schedule.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, proactive and detail‑oriented.

• Conceptual and detailed design, including calculations, material selection and creation of assembly drawings.
