Mechanical O&M Incharge

About the role

The Mechanical O&M Incharge will lead the operation and maintenance of a wide range of mechanical equipment, ensuring reliable performance and compliance with safety and quality standards. This role involves direct interaction with customers, vendors, and internal teams to optimise plant uptime and support business development.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee O&M of HSC pumps, vertical turbine pumps, compressors, blowers, valves and pipeline networks.
• Execute preventive, breakdown and predictive maintenance programmes.
• Implement and monitor a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Audit water and wastewater treatment plants and supervise water/sewer line commissioning.
• Prepare and manage monsoon‑related precautionary activities.
• Ensure adherence to EHS, quality documents and site SOPs.
• Manage sub‑contracts, vendor agreements, purchase orders and KPI compliance.

Required profile

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 4‑13 years of experience, or BE/B.Tech (ME) with 4‑10 years of experience.
• Proven experience in operation and maintenance of mechanical equipment in industrial settings.
• Strong background in water & wastewater treatment plant auditing and commissioning.
• Ability to maintain effective customer relationships and deliver high‑quality service.
