Mechanical Inspection Engineer – Oil & Gas Projects

About the role

The company is seeking a Mechanical Inspection Engineer to support an oil and gas project in Bhachau, Gujarat. The role focuses on ensuring the quality and compliance of mechanical fabrication works, particularly in railway‑related structures.

Key responsibilities

• Perform inspections of mechanical fabrication, including plates, gutters, and bridges, in accordance with project specifications.
• Verify compliance with ASNT Level II standards and other relevant codes.
• Document inspection results, generate reports, and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate with fabrication teams and project engineers to resolve quality issues.
• Support the preparation of quality assurance documentation for railway projects.

Required profile

• B.E. or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in mechanical inspection or quality assurance, preferably on railway or infrastructure projects.
• Hands‑on experience with fabrication of plates, gutters, and bridges.
• ASNT Level II certification is mandatory.
